Gin.Chreyl.Mahirah.Deborah.Vivien.Ikli.Shann.Sery.*yours truly*.Amalina.“Rain, rain go away, come again another day.” That’s what I hope for early in the day and it really stopped! Unfortunately, later on in the afternoon, it rained again. We all (Shann, Cheryl, Vivien, Ikli, Sery and myself) met at Harbourfront MRT station whereas Gin and Deborah were already making their rounds at Vivo City as they reached early. That was when, we had to wait for the corrode star (star karat) of the day, Mahirah and her little sis, Amalina. As we were starving, we made our way to LJS for dinner. Suddenly, the rain starts to fall. I guess, I’ve been singing the whole day and that’s the reason as to why it rains. Hehe!
Anyways, we decided to take a tour around Vivo while waiting for the rain to subside. We visited the vet where we were greeted by a very-very cute bulldog! If only, we, muslims could touch it. Hmm. Extremely cute la, I think that’s my very first time coming across that kind of dog. And then, there were other dogs, like the sheep dog, retriever and some other which I can’t really recall. Lovely! There were hamsters too! Seriously cute! I guess that’s why it costs $30 each ey? If that’s me, it would be priceless. Hehehe! Apart from vet, we visited the toy shop, just across the vet. We met a lot of our twins there. The DW world especially. Hahaha! I even own an ochestra! I just knew that. Some of the girls bought keychains which look very unique with big eyes made out of buttons. Hahaha! ‘remember to only wear pink dotty shorts but without any top to school, Shann.’ (:
The rain then subsided; so we made our way to take the monorail to Sentosa. Mahirah, Amalina, Shann, Sery and myself had the Islander card so, free entry! I swear I was really hyper when taking the monorail, jumping with joy every 5 minutes. Sorry if you’re irritated by it , Sery. Snapped some pictures before this whole bunch of noisy kids got in. We then stopped at the Beach Station and made our way to buy tickets for Musical Fountain show, Songs of the Sea. We walk around the bells, the merlion, snapping and posing pictures. Gosh, I felt like a tourist at that moment. Right 7.40pm sharp, we watched the Songs of the Sea. It’s really-really beautiful. I just love it. The colors, the fire, the water shoots, the fireworks. ALL! ALL! ALL! Hahahaha. Next, we took a tramp that brought us away to Café Del Mar. That’s my very first time going there though but it’s a nice place. I was searching and searching if Nik is working there still. Thought of being sarcastically irritating to him or punch him for he deserves it. :p But, NO. The 10 of us were really-really fussy. From chilling outside, we changed to indoors due to damp cushions after the rainfall and all. Ergh! I had Peach Virgin Margarita, the Chinese girls wanted to make themselves drunk with those apple martini, apple lollipop, Carlsberg but nah, they’re still okay. Though Vivien almost wants to vomit and pass out. I was really tempted to try a little when Vivien offered. Hahaha! But NO! I can’t okay! (: They played a game, that each time someone lose, they have to take a sip. I just giggle all night through seeing them, till their cheeks all get red and hot. We add some fries and calamari too as we start to starve again. I thought there is going to be another dinner that night.
After all that wonderful activities, we then called it a day. I think I really wanna go Sentosa again. There’s a lot that I missed. I want to take the Sky Rider, take a walk to the Jungle track and the other side which I’ve not go. Another date to sentosa? Care to join another Dora’s Explorer’s event? *winks.
