Another weekend means another job done at the OT. Yea, absolutely. Now, I’m left with my 3 weeks of Gerontology postings at AMK hospital and PRCP. Oh no, time flies pretty fast. Okay, OT was great, pretty interesting indeed. What’s more I was placed to Plastic Surgery theatre twice. Haha! It was so ERRRRR but new discovery for me.

Surgeries like breast implantation, Liposuction, removal of breast and most shocking was GENDER READJUSTMENT! I did scrubbing for the liposuction where the surgeons really suck out the fats from the patient’s abdomen. Fats really look like those steam corns you had on Styrofoam cups. Haha! I’m not trying to be disgusting but it is one. A total of 2.5L was sucked out. Hahaha! So much right. Please, if you intend to lose some weight, make liposuction your last resort ya. Try the natural way first.

Gender readjustment? Aha! This was even more shocking. I totally thought the patient was a male and to my surprised when HE/SHE stripped for the operation, the thing was a female’s. Haha! OMG! However, she already removed her breast and all, her voice has changed like male’s, this time she was there to change her inside functions to be functioning to a male’s one. You know, to produce sperm, make someone pregnant, longer urethra. That stuffs. How they make the urethra long? Hahaha! More than words. You can’t even imagine what I saw. So, her next operation would be making the penis? Yea, that’s about it.

Oh ya, I had a chat with Ikli on daryl’s phone on one of the days, and he sound so happy over there. He said the nurses there were really nice and friendly. Just like how we watched on videotapes, that’s exactly how they work. Cool or whadd.
